This premium single-vineyard Zinfandel comes from the acclaimed Parmelee-Hill Vineyard in the Sonoma Coast. The grapes come from the only southern facing 1.5-acre block of Zinfandel grown at Parmelee-Hill Vineyard. The block was intentionally planted to face south in order to maximize the sunlight, to help ripen this cool-climate Zinfandel. The grapes were meticulously sorted in the fields and at the winery to ensure that only the highest quality of grapes were used.

Cranberry and strawberry cobbler aromas exude as the wine is swirled. As the wine opens, more savory characteristics of rosemary and black pepper reveal themselves. The entry is luscious and complex, with flavors of fresh raspberries and plums intertwining with sweet vanillin and molasses from the barrel influence. The bright juicy acidity, a hallmark of Parmelee-Hill Vineyard, balances the sweetness of oak influence and sandy texture. The wines fine, plush mouthfeel balances the expanding finish with subtle notes of cola and candied fruit.Winemaker Brandon Lapides
Tart and acid-driven, this wine is surprisingly bright and red fruited, with citrus undertones. Soft, integrated tannins provide structure around an elegant midpalate of graceful oak, a mix of both French and American, leading the way to a spicy, peppery and herbal finish.Wine Enthusiast July 2021
